I was obsessed with the musical Les Miserables when I was younger, and my mother's favorite line from the show is, "To love another person is to see the face of God." This phrase was the first place I had the idea of making braille jewelry, and I liked the way it elevates the word 'see' away from visual sight and into a more meaningful idea of understanding and recognition. 

The word "God" is done in 24k gold keum boo.

This piece is in accurate, grade 2, contracted braille. All of the spacing and dot size is according to UBAE standards to be correct and legible to tactile readers.

Because braille is contracted, this piece may not have the number of cells (letters) you expect. Letter combinations such as "the" and "er" are covered by a single braille cell.
